"Astrology is assured of recognition from psychology, without further restrictions, because astrology represents the summation of all the psychological knowledge of antiquity." ~ Carl Jung

Astrology is a belief system that suggests that the positions and movements of celestial bodies, such as planets and stars, can influence human affairs and natural phenomena. It has been practiced for thousands of years in various cultures around the world and is based on the idea that there is a relationship between the positions of celestial bodies at the time of a person's birth and their personality traits, behavior, and destiny.

The foundation of astrology lies in the concept of the zodiac, which is divided into twelve equal segments, each associated with a specific astrological sign. These signs are further divided into four elements (fire, earth, air, and water) and three modalities (cardinal, fixed, and mutable). Astrologers analyze the positions of celestial bodies in relation to these signs and elements to make predictions and offer insights into individual personalities, relationships, and life events.

Astrology has various branches, including natal astrology (which focuses on individual birth charts), horary astrology (which answers specific questions based on the positions of celestial bodies at the time the question is asked), and mundane astrology (which examines the influence of celestial bodies on world events and politics).

There are twelve astrological signs, each associated with specific dates and traits:

Astrological Charts

Sun sign, moon sign, and rising sign are all components of astrological charts used in astrology to understand different facets of a person's personality and life.

  1. Sun Sign: This is what most people refer to when they talk about their astrological sign. It's determined by the position of the Sun at the time of your birth and represents your core identity, ego, and the essence of who you are. It's often associated with your conscious self-expression and the traits you exhibit outwardly.

  2. Moon Sign: The moon sign is determined by the position of the Moon at the time of your birth. It represents your emotional nature, instincts, and subconscious. It reflects your inner self, feelings, and reactions to situations. Knowing your moon sign can provide insight into your emotional needs and how you nurture yourself.

  3. Rising Sign (Ascendant): This sign is based on the constellation that was rising on the eastern horizon at the time of your birth. It's associated with your outward demeanour, your first impression on others, and the way you approach new situations. Your rising sign can influence how you interact with the world and how others perceive you.

To determine your full astrological profile, you would need to know the specific time, date, and place of your birth to calculate your moon sign and rising sign accurately.
