"The world needs heroes, I choose to be one. - A woman with a sword, a sword of faith, making history through her fire. - Go forward bravely. Fear nothing. Trust in God; all will be well." ~ Joan of Arc
The Call to the Inner Warrior - From Fear to Courage
Walking in the Footsteps of Joan of Arc
Throughout history, there have been individuals who answered a divine call—despite fear, doubt, and overwhelming obstacles. They stepped forward into the unknown, driven by faith rather than certainty.
Joan of Arc was one of these figures. Her story is not just a historical account but a Christian mystical tale of divine guidance, unwavering faith, and the warrior spirit that resides within us all. Joan was only a teenager when she received her divine calling. Born into a simple life, she never imagined she would lead an army, let alone change the course of history. Yet, she listened—to the whispers of angels, to the pull of destiny, to something greater than herself. She had no formal training in battle, no guidebook to follow, only an unshakable faith that she was meant to stand for something bigger than herself.
The Divine Call: How Joan of Arc Was Chosen
At the age of 13, Joan began experiencing visions and hearing voices from divine beings—most notably: Archangel Michael, the warrior of heaven; Saint Catherine of Alexandria, the patroness of wisdom and strength; and Saint Margaret of Antioch, known for her endurance in trials.
These celestial guides gave her a sacred mission: to lead France to victory against the English and to ensure Charles VII was crowned king. Joan, a young peasant girl with no military experience, could have dismissed these visions. But she chose faith over fear. She trusted that if she had been called, then she would be guided.
Her story mirrors those of other biblical figures who also received divine callings: Moses—who led the Israelites despite feeling unworthy; Deborah—the warrior and prophet who led Israel’s army to victory; and The Virgin Mary—who accepted a divine purpose greater than herself. Like them, Joan faced resistance. People doubted her, mocked her, and tried to silence her. Yet, she did not turn away. She rode into battle, clad in armor, carrying not just a sword, but an unshakable faith.
Joan’s Legacy
Though condemned as a heretic and burned at the stake in 1431, she was later exonerated, declared a martyr, and canonized as a Catholic Saint in 1920. Her story carries deep spiritual and symbolic meaning—a testament to faith, courage, and the divine call to action, much like the legendary warriors and prophets of the past.

A Call to the Inner Warrior: From Fear to Courage
There comes a moment in life when we are faced with a choice—to remain silent in fear or to rise in courage and truth. This is the moment of the Call—when we are no longer just a bystander in our own story, but an active participant in something greater than ourselves.
For some, this call is a whisper; for others, it is a battle cry. For me, it was a personal war—one that tested my spirit, my faith, and my very identity.
Like Joan of Arc, I stood against those who tried to silence me. Like Captain America, I did not fight for power, but for truth. And like Archangel Michael, I knew this was not just my battle—it was a fight for my family, for justice, and for the right to live in peace.
The War No One Sees: The Battle of the Empath
Empaths are often drawn into relationships with narcissists, manipulators, and those who seek to control. We see the best in people, believing in their potential for good—only to be met with deception, gaslighting, physical and emotional warfare.
For years, I endured this silent battle, feeling trapped between love and survival, truth and illusion. When I finally took a stand against the ongoing abuse and harmful patterns affecting my children, the backlash was immediate. I was branded as "crazy" and subjected to countless other projections. I was expected to stay silent. I had already awakened. I could not unsee the truth. Much like Captain America, who refused to back down against impossible odds, I chose to stand in my convictions, even when the world told me to kneel.
The Moment of Truth: Answering the Call
Every hero’s journey has a moment of reckoning. For Joan of Arc, it was when she left her village to fight for France. For Captain America, it was when he stepped forward—not because he was the strongest, but because he could not stand by and do nothing.
For me, it was choosing to break free—to stop allowing the lies, the manipulation, and the fear to dictate my life. It was speaking truth, not with violence, but with unwavering conviction. I was no longer afraid. I did not fight back with hate—I fought with love, clarity, and truth. And that was enough.
The Trial of Fire: Being Silenced but Not Defeated
When Joan of Arc was captured, she was accused of heresy. When Captain America stood for justice, he was hunted. When Archangel Michael cast out darkness, he faced rebellion.
Likewise, when I stood up, I was met with disbelief, betrayal, and resistance. The enemy does not surrender easily—whether that enemy is an abuser, a system, or the voices of doubt inside our own minds.
But here is the truth: Silence does not mean defeat. Truth is stronger than illusion. Love is more powerful than fear.
The Warrior’s Transformation: From Victim to Victor
In every mythic story, the warrior does not return the same. The battle transforms them. They are no longer just a fighter—they are a protector, a leader, a beacon of hope.
I, too, was changed. I was no longer a victim. I was no longer bound by fear. I had become the warrior of my own life. Like Captain America, I fought not because I wanted to, but because I had to. Like Joan of Arc, I stood in faith. Like Archangel Michael, I held my sword—not to destroy, but to defend the light.
Your Call to the Inner Warrior
If you have ever felt silenced… If you have ever been told your truth is not real… If you have ever been made to feel small in the face of a greater power…
Know this: You are stronger than you know. You are not alone. You are being called to rise.
The battle is not always fought with weapons. Sometimes, it is fought with unshakable faith, with courage, and with the refusal to be broken.
Will you answer the call?
